Description: Are you ready to take your SMART™ Board lessons to the next level? This course will give you the tools and time to prepare innovative, academic, and engaging SMART™ Board lessons. We will develop lessons that move beyond the basic to include pages that encourage higher level thinking and active engagement. We will cover basic information to find essentials of your SMART™ software, but you should have an understanding of the program and have worked with it prior to taking this class. Bring lesson plans and manuals for any coursework you wish to prepare to make the best use of your time in class. We will also build a resource site for you to store useful links. Completed SMART™ documents can be emailed to you at work or home, or you may bring a "flash drive" to store completed work.
The instructor is Lynn Berens. She is an ISD 622 teacher who is a trained Media Specialist and is completing her license in instructional technologies.
