Reading Workshop
Dates: July 11-15, 2011 Grades: K-8
Description: This course will examine the Reading Workshop as one component of a balanced literacy program. Reading Workshop topics will include mini-lessons, student reading time, mid-workshop teaching points, book clubs, classroom libraries, strategy lessons, conferring, read aloud and more. Whether you have taken a Reading Workshop course in the past and want to continue learning more or are in the beginning stages of Reading Workshop, you will find this course to be beneficial to your teaching.
